STAY PUFT MARSHMALLOW MINION!
So I’ve been involved with a 3D animation/design program this fall/winter and I finally have something to show from it! Just in time for Halloween! Expect more 3D work coming from now on.
Happy to announce I’ll be part of Mondo’s tribute show to EC Comics next month! This is a dream come true for me, as Mondo has been one of my favorite galleries since they opened.
It’ll be my biggest piece yet coming in at 18x24! I cannot wait to share it with you guys.
exbendable asked: Hey Shane, Any plans on doing horror movie drawings this October? I remember tuning in for a decent chunk last year and they were a blast.
Unfortunately not. I’ve been swamped by this 3D program I am taking. I do have a little something in the works though! Very horror related!

My piece for the Space show at Gallery 1988 West. The show opens July 22 and is curated by Mike Mitchell.
I am very grateful and proud to be in this show for a number of reasons. Mike Mitchell has been a long time friend and I was very surprised and honored that he asked me to partake in this show. Mike’s enthusiasm about space had a profound impact on my beliefs. For once, everything made sense. I knew what we are and where we came from. The stars. The universe is us and we are just expressing ourselves for the briefest of times. I am paraphrasing Eckhart Tolle here but you get the point. We are just a blip throughout the timeline of the universe. I am going to make the best of it while I can.
This one’s for you Mike. I owe ya.
Got my copy of Puffed Shoggoths in! Great work @trevrhenderson
